Rinpoche goes on pilgrimage to the sacred Jokhang Temple during his visit to Lhasa in November 2011.
Rinpoche offered a new set of robes and a complete coat of gold to the whole Jowo Rinpoche statue in Jokhang Temple, Lhasa. The Jowo Shakyamuni statue is the most holy statue in Tibet, said to have blessed by Buddha Shakyamuni himself.
A new set of robes was also offered to the Jowo Shakyamuni statue by Sonam Rinpoche.
